Universal mobile controller

The BrainBox is a control device designed specially for use in mobile hydraulics. It is the latest and most outstanding development based on the proven Völkel platform. BrainBox provides generally for a large range of control applications, in particular for safety-relevant usage. The controller is available with customer-specific software. The PC program ConDoc enables a rapid adaptation to the individual machine data as well as a comprehensive diagnosis. The BrainBox Hardware is also available as programmable controller. To adapt the BrainBox to the requested task, the user can freely program in the high level language C or use the PLC screen according to IEC 61131-3. Three micro-controllers, each with an independent supply unit, and the extensive Völkel firmware make programming work comfortable. The applications programmer only has to program the master processor while the two slave processors support him with safety software and comprehensive input / output peripherals.
