The software-based dspDrive© current controller ensures optimal running performance at all speeds, in contrast to pure hardware solutions. The resulting perfect sinus current in the motor winding allows for stepper motor operation without the classic resonance and noise problems.

The Positioning, Velocity, Interpolated and Homing modes can be used in accordance with the DS 402 standard via the CANopen interface, as well as the inputs.

With its range of functions, it provides numerous options that otherwise are only available in bulkier equipment and at greater cost. Because of the integrated ballast circuit, an external capacitor is often not required.
