Display with CANopen or J1939 interface for machine control networks

Published 2012-04-11

Axiomatic launched the AX050300 color display applicable as operator interface to machine control networks. It interfaces with CANopen or SAE J1939 networked machine controls such as inclinometers, I/O modules and/or valve drivers. The display acts as a CANopen NMT master and features two CAN ports.

THE DEVICE PROVIDES AN EIA-232 PORT AND A USB PORT for software updates. The power supply input is 12 VDC, 24 VDC or 48 VDC nominal. Operating temperature ranges from -30 ºC to +85 ºC.

Axiomatic works with Simulink and Linux design tools for embedded software (written in C language). The IP65-protected display is designed to meet the rugged demands of mobile equipment and heavy-duty industrial machine applications. It uses a RAM-mounting bracket to mount in the machine’s cab.

The company provides electronic machine controls, components and systems to the off-highway, military, power generation, material handling, industrial and alternate energy OEM markets.

Recently Axiomatic announced the appointment of their new Australian representative, Macquarrie. The company specialized in diesel engine reconditioning has been operating for over 60 years. It has branches across the Eastern seaboard of Australia with engineering staff for development of complete solutions to meet engine control requirements
