The companies Peak-System and Emtas have arranged to cooperate. When dealing with CAN and CAN FD, the components of Peak are used and integrated in the embedded software solutions of Emtas.

In future, both companies want to promote the others products and to recommend the best possible joint solution for customer projects. When dealing with CAN and CAN FD communication, the components of Peak-System are used and integrated in the embedded software solutions of Emtas, including drivers and APIs for Windows and Linux operating systems.
The two German companies have agreed that in future product launches technical compatibility will be ensured for products of the partner. Emtas is a software development partner for CAN, J1939, CANopen, and other bus systems in the fields of medical technology, automation technology, and renewable and conventional energy technology. Peak-System is one of the leading companies in the area of CAN technology for automotive and industrial communication, diagnosis, and development.
Founded in 1999 Peak-System is a provider of hardware, software, and services for the mobile and industrial communication sector with emphasis on the fieldbuses CAN and LIN. In addition to development and distribution hardware and software products, they provide know-how in form of various services, among them courses about CAN basics and products of the company. The company has been certified according to the international standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 in October 2014.
Emtas with its seat in Merseburg is a provider of CANopen, Energybus, and Ethercat protocol stacks and appropriate tools for users working in industrial communication technology. The company also provides development services, integration support, consulting, and trainings in the area of Energybus, CANopen, and Ethercat. The implementation of software development projects completes their portfolio.
