Warwick Control (England) has changed its training that will be of interest to all levels of automotive/transport engineers and technicians. It’s about CAN, J1939 and other in-vehicle networks.
THE COURSE IS AN ALL-ENCOMPASSING in-vehicle networks technical training with the emphasis on Controller Area Network, which will gives understanding of basic automotive electrical systems. Contents will be CAN along with signals interpretation, the J1939 higher-layer protocol as well as CAN on board diagnostics. The practical part will include the use of CAN and J1939 ECUs, and the use of an actual car to cover real life troubleshooting situations.
The next training dates are the 5th and 19th of June and will take place in the company’s office in Warwickshire. Each of these courses got a CAN tool option, where for a small amount more the attendee can go home with a CAN network analysis tool for the PC, that will let them observe the real time CAN network.
