Bernecker + Reiner (Austria) exhibits the MA170 control and I/O devices at the Bauma 2013 trade fair in Munich (Germany). These products are designed for use in mobile machines. Besides CAN interfaces, they provide optionally Ethernet-Powerlink connectivity.
THE AUSTRIAN COMPANY BRINGS ITS industrial automation devices into the mobile machine market. Of course, the products come in special enclosures and are extended by dedicated panels for use in construction machines, for example. The system designer can use the Automation Studio software tool for system and device configuration. All devices are equipped with a CAN interface compliant to the CANopen application layer. The aluminum housings are IP65-rated. Also the Ethernet Powerlink application layer is based on CANopen comprising PDO and SDO services.
