After the market launch in the 42-mm class, Gerdt Seefrid is constantly expanding the product range of BLDC (brushless direct current electric motor) drives and the corresponding controllers. The BMC 300H comes with CANopen functionality.
The Bad Vilbel-based (Germany) company will add BLDC motors with a diameter of 57 mm to its portfolio in 2022. These drives will be offered both without gearbox and in combination with worm gearboxes.
The BMC 300H controller for BLDC motors with Hall sensors has been available since 2015. With five digital inputs, five integrated potentiometers for setpoint specifications, two relay outputs, a supply voltage output for sensors, and a CANopen interface, the product offers a way of controlling brushless DC motors with a continuous current of up to 10 A. Due to the range of functions, the controller can be used to solve small control tasks without the use of a higher-level PLC (programmable logic controller), explained the company. The BMC 50H BLDC controller is available for motor currents up to 2,5 A and “simple” applications. The company is part of the SPS 2021 in hall 1, booth 320.
