At the Hanover Fair Industry, JVL (Denmark) presented its range of CANopen connectable products. This included the IP67-rated MAC 141 servomotor in a stainless steel housing. It is suitable for food and medical industries.
THE DANISH COMPANY PROVIDES A BROAD RANGE of compact stepper and servomotors. Most of them are available with CANopen interfaces compliant to CiA 402. The MAC 141 brushless motor integrates the motion controller, the encoder, and the all other necessary electronics. This stainless steel motor comes with a special Teflon sealing for long lasting watertight operation. The motor features 0,48/1,59 Nm, 134 W, and up to 2700 rotations per minute.
Other products presented by JVL included The Nema 17 stepper motor with built-in PLC and eight local digital I/O ports as well as the stepper motor controller for up to 9 A and 80 VDC. The control unit is based on an ARM processor and a FPGA. The resolution of 819200 steps per revolution equals to 4096 micro-steps per full-step. This controller is used in the company’s MIS 340-342 integrated stepper motor featuring torques between 3 and 9 Nm. The printed circuit board measures 78 mm x 86 mm with 4 mounting holes. Optionally it is delivered in a box with M12 connectors and DIN rail-mountable. In addition, the company offers the AC servomotor family with integrated motion controller. These space saving products are also available with CANopen connectivity.
