Tries (Germany) develops and manufactures its own hydraulic valves and customer specified system solutions. The introduced 791 controller provides CAN connectivity in order to reduce cabling effort in mobile machines.
THE MULTI-CONTROLLER IS DESIGNED for mobile and industrial applications. It comes in an IP65-rated enclosure. The motherboard features 8 multi-functional inputs, 4 counter-inputs, 8 digital outputs, and 4 PWM outputs. The extension board provides additional 14 digital inputs and 24 digital outputs. These outputs can be used to activate standard as well as proportional valves. By using CAN communication, the wiring is reduced and the valves can be diagnosed by a host controller. Analog nominal values and digital signals can be processed by additional inputs. Therefore, the electro-hydraulic controllers are easy to maintain and longer shutdown periods of machines can be avoided. The device doesn’t support the CiA 408 CANopen profile for fluid power devices.
