The iPOS360x BX-CAN device by Technosoft (Switzerland) embeds motion control, drive, and PLC functionality. The housing measures 80 mm x 55 mm x 16 mm.
EQUIPPED WITH A CAN INTERFACE, the 17-g devices can control and drive rotary or linear brushless, DC brush, and stepper motors. They provide a power of up to 144 W. The products are able to drive 2 A (iPOS3602 BX) or 4 A (iPOS3604 BX) continuous currents, and 3,2 A (iPOS3602 BX) or 10 A (iPOS3604 BX) peak currents at a supply voltage ranging from 12 VDC to 36 VDC, with a PWM of a 20-kHz frequency.
These servo drives offer high-level single- or multiple-axis control functions. They also support the CiA 402 CANopen profile. Additionally, they can be programmed to execute motion programs directly at drive level, using their built-in motion controller and the Technosoft motion language (TML). The TML instruction set makes it possible to program the products at users level. System configuration and parameterization are performed by selecting and testing the system structure, motor and
sensor types and control mode.
