Supports Linux, U-Boot, and CAN

Denx Computer Systems (Germany) has released a system-on-module, the M6R. The module supports Linux 3.x and U-Boot as operating systems and has a CAN interface.

THE i.MX 6 CPU FAMILY BY FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR offers a single/dual/quad-core platform running at 800 MHz/1,0 GHz/1,2 GHz with 1 MiB of L2 cache and 64-bit DDR3 RAM support. Various integrated interfaces like CAN, FlexCAN, MLB, PCI Express, and SATA provide connectivity, while integration of LVDS, MIPI display port, MIPI camera port, and HDMI v 1.4 makes it an suitable platform for consumer, automotive, and industrial multimedia applications.

Designed for ruggedized applications, M6R offers complex functionality. The board measures 80 mm x 60 mm. Three board-to-board connectors ensure that most signals of the CPU are available on the baseboard. U-Boot and Linux 3.x are supported.
