BESIDES THE DETECTION OF THE ABSOLUTE CABIN POSITION Limax33 CP performs security-relevant functions. A typical Limax33 CP system consists of a magnetic tape with absolute encoding, a tape presence detector, and a sensor for the detection of the absolute cabin position, in which all switching and control functions are already integrated on up to three pairs of safety relays. In this regard, the system differs from decentralized solutions in which the control functions are implemented in a separate component.

Via up to 13 safe inputs, additional status signals of the elevator can be detected. The system is designed for hoisting heights up to 260 meters and speeds up to 10 m/s. The company presents its product at the Interlift fair in Augsburg, Germany hall 3, stand 3159. It takes place on October 13 to 16, 2015.
