SPS IPC Drives 2015
At the SPS, Sigmatek showcases the IPC 221 industrial PC (IPC). It comes with an Intel Celeron Processor, 2 GiB to 8 GiB DDR3 RAM, as well as 512 MiB Compact Flash memory.
THE CONTROL CABINET IPC is suitable as a platform for demanding control, regulation, and motion tasks for decentral, as well as central machine concepts. With a height of 11 cm and an 8 cm depth, the IPC fits with the company’s S-Dias system. The I/O-modules can be directly connected to the IPC 221 via the bus interface located on the side.
The following interfaces are already integrated, so that the IPC finds a connection: two CAN, two Varan, two Ethernet, as well as one USB 2.0, DVI and S-DVI each. As with all Sigmatek automation components, projects are developed and programmed with the all-in-one engineering tool Lasal. The front-located interfaces and connections, as well as the tool-less DIN rail mounting reduces the work of installation and service, says the company. The product’s dimensions are 218,5 mm x 110,3 mm x 77,2 mm.
At the SPS IPC Drives 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany you can learn more about this product at the company’s booth (270) in hall 7. They are also showcasing a live demonstration at the exhibition: the Agumos Q40 – a driverless transport system that is predestined for use in smart factories. The exhibition takes place from 24 November to 26 November 2015.
