The on-board PC VBOX-3120 with Core i3 processor by Sintrones (Taiwan) is suitable for fleet management, passenger infotainment, payment system, and network digital signage applications.

Designed for usage in extreme environments, the VBOX-3120 is capable of operation at -40 °C to +70 °C and can withstand levels of shock and vibration up to 2,5 g. Based on Intel's Haswell Core i3-4010U processor, the product is an in-vehicle computer which is suitable for a variety of applications including bus digital signage, bus surveillance, trucks, trains, and numerous other vehicles. Other features include one CAN interface, one EIA-232 (COM1 with EIA-232/422/485) output, and three mini-card slots for WLAN/4G LTE/3G modules.

The VBOX-3120 measures 182 mm x 167,6 mm x 52 mm and meets requirements in space-critical applications. To facilitate mobile communication and navigation, the product has integrated LTE, UMTS, GSM, GPRS, WLAN, and GPS with dead reckoning. The unit features vehicle power ignition that enables it to adapt to various power supply conditions within transportation environments. For increased flexibility, the device has a power input of 9 V to 36 V and an optional internal smart battery backup for uninterrupted power support. For in-vehicle passenger infotainment and digital signage applications, the VBOX-3120 supports display interface connections such as HDMI and DVI-I.
