Embedded World 2021
At the Embedded World 2021 digital exhibition, Emcomo (Germany) shows the EM-RPI-Box passive-cooled embedded system with two CAN FD interfaces. The exhibition takes place virtually because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The fanless embedded system with two CAN FD interfaces is based on a Raspberry Pi central processing unit with several mounting options. Target applications are industrial automation and automotive. The product comes with a quad-core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC at 1,5 GHz, a two GiB LPDDR4 memory (optional four or eight GiB) and a 32-GiB Flash and Micro-SD card. The two CAN FD interfaces are on Sub-D 9 connectors. Mounting options of the product are desktop, DIN-rail, or wall-mount.
The box PC measures 95 mm x 84 mm x 32 mm, weight 150 g, and provides an input voltage range of 12 VDC to 24 VDC. The operating temperature is 0 °C to +50 °C and storage temperature -20 °C to +80 °C.
