The ARM-based portable PC by Incostartec (Germany) measures 70 mm x 60 mm x 31 mm. It comes in an aluminum housing and weighs 98 g.
THE μBOX-PC FEATURES A 32-bit ARM processor (Freescale) running at 532 MHz. The CPU includes a vector floating-point coprocessor strengthened by a DDR2 DRAM memory of up to 256 MiB and a 64MiB flash memory. There is also a µSD-card slot onboard in order to extend the memory capacity. Equipped with Ethernet and USB interfaces, the product also provides two CAN interfaces and EIA-232/485 ports. The CAN channels are accessible by a 9-pin D-sub connector not using the standardized CiA pinning (CiA 102/303-1). Optionally the controller comes with 2,4-inch TFT touch-screen.
Also optionally available is a 3D graphics acceleration, an internal WLAN and GSM module, analog audio inputs and outputs as well as a digital camera input. Linux and Window CE support is provided. The manufacturer regards its product to act as gateway, as a visual analyzer for measuring or logging data. Typical application fields include automotive, industrial control, and medical devices.
