Embedded computer with dual CAN ports

The 262-I embedded computer by Moxa (USA) comes with dual CAN ports (2-kV isolated) supporting CANopen protocol. The CAN interfaces base on the SJA 1000T CAN controllers by NXP. Bit-rates from 10 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s are supported.

THE COMPUTER IS BASED ON THE 32-BIT CIRRUS EP9315 ARM9 CPU running on 200 MHz. 32-MiB NOR Flash ROM and 128-MiB SDRAM are built-in. Two EIA-232/-422/-485 serial ports, dual Ethernet ports, eight digital input channels, eight digital output channels, VGA output, two USB hosts, and a CompactFlash socket are available. The unit is suitable for use with Scada systems in industrial applications, such as manufacturing automation, production line process monitoring, and mining automation, that require VGA and HMI features. The two available LAN ports make the device suitable for industrial applications that require network redundancy. The device is housed in a compact (60 mm x 115 mm x 152 mm), IP40-protected aluminum case. It is designed with 12 VDC to 48 VDC redundant power input.
In addition to the standard models, wide temperature (-40 °C to +75 °C) models are available for use in harsh industrial automation environments. The IA260 embedded computers come pre-installed with Linux or WinCE 6.0 operating system. Software written for a desktop PC may be ported to the computer platform by using a common compiler, without needing to modify the code. The application software may be stored in the computer’s flash memory
