ECU for powertrain or auxiliary hydraulics

Parker Hannifin (Belgium) has launched at the Bauma 2013 its CM0711 control unit. The CAN-connectable unit can also act as an additional controller in systems, where the already installed main controller doesn’t provide enough I/O ports.

THE ECU INTENDED FOR POWERTRAIN APPLICATIONS as well as auxiliary hydraulics controller comes in an IP69K-rated aluminum housing. It operates within the temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C. The unit can control proportional valves using current mode of PWM mode signals. It has seven inputs and 11 outputs. The manufacturer provides a software development kit. It includes an application-programming interface based on the C-language. The internal watchdog can be used to monitor the application program. The outputs feature diagnostic functionality: for example, for open load and current feedback. The reference output voltage used for sensor supply can be diagnosed as well.
Also, the supply voltage and the internal signals can be monitored. The device has
an internal temperature sensor.
