For many years, Analytica has been selling professional products for Ethernet-based access to CAN networks under the brand of Anagate. The current Anagate CAN X series includes CAN adapters providing up to eight CAN ports in industrial housing for mounting onto DIN rails. The devices are designed for operation in industrial applications and can be used in extended temperature range of -20 °C up to +70 °C.

The devices of the series use a 400 MHz ARM9 processor. They are designed for high system performance. The two, four, or eight CAN interfaces can be individually connected to a computer or PLC via the Ethernet protocol (gateway operating mode). In addition, it is possible to interconnect the present CAN interfaces internally to link different CAN networks (bridge mode). By using of two or more devices, distant CAN networks can be connected over LAN or the Internet.

All devices of the series additionally support the use of network connections by WLAN or by WWAN (Wireless Wide Area Network) in addition to or instead of a wired Ethernet connection. Using WLAN or mobile Internet (UMTS, GSM) on the CAN gateway requires a compatible WLAN or WWAN USB adapter. The WLAN or WWAN adapter has only to be plugged into one of the present USB host interfaces of the CAN gateway. Activation and configuration happens via the web interface of the gateway. Various USB adapters from TP-Link and Huaweia are supported.
