The two companies headquartered in USA have announced the Blueprint Control System to be used in law enforcement vehicles, school buses, and vehicles of the amber markets. They integrate the Upfitter Interface Module by Intermotive, which features CAN connectivity.

“With the addition of Blueprint Link, our Blueprint technology advances with compelling new vehicle safety automation features,” said Doug Baker from Sound-off-Signal. “We recognize the core knowledge of vehicle CAN systems Intermotive has developed.” Greg Schafer from Intermotive added. “This is about the evolution of vehicle safety. Adding the technology of our Upfitter Interface Module to their Blueprint solution creates an even stronger, unique and customizable safety solution for customers.”

The product’s software can process over 50 vehicle parameters received from the CAN-based in-vehicle networks. Due to the direct connection to the in-vehicle networks, the wiring has been simplified. The product is also suitable for retrofitting vehicles.
