Protocol converter in CANopen and Devicenet variants

Deutschmann is part of the Embedded World 2021 digital exhibition. Besides other CAN products, the company shows there its Unigate MB protocol converter which is available as CANopen and Devicenet variants.

The configurable protocol converter connects devices to the required serial network system via a serial interface. EIA-232, EIA-485, and EIA-422 interfaces are on board as a regular feature. The communication between the chosen network system and the serial side can be carried out via CANopen and Devicenet, as well as other network systems. The converter features a CANopen responder interface and supports version 4.02. The isolated CANopen interface comes with a 9-pin D-sub connector.

A special feature of the series is brand labelling, explained the company. With the customized design, the device can be pre-conīŦgured, different housing colors can be chosen, and an own logo can be applied. Available variant of the product are, as already mentioned CANopen, Devicenet, Profinet, Profibus, Ethercat, Ethernet/IP, and Modbus. The product comes with a voltage range from 10 VDC to 33 VDC.
