Vibration proof circular connectors, which are overmolded with thermoplastic polyurethane are now available in all four sizes. The overmolding has an insulating function as well as the strain-relief. All tools are complete, meaning no additional tooling costs for customers. The operating voltage of the connectors is (according to UL) 250 V and they are available with 4, 9, 14, 24, and 37 pins.

This series has been developed as an economical, weight-saving alternative to high-priced circular connectors made of metal, said the company. They can be used in applications in harsh environments and heavy soiling industries such as agriculture, construction- and industrial machinery in addition to welding devices.

The 9-pin version of construction size 13 corresponds to ISO 11783-2, the CAN-based network standard in agricultural and forestry machines. Depending on the accessories and the cable, the connectors achieve a degree of protection up to IP65/67 and withstand temperatures between -55 °C and +105 °C.

Due to the trapezoidal thread, the bayonet locking system has a final locking which ensures protection against vibration. The connectors are also available with metal housings and gold-plated contacts upon request. The other side can be arranged individually and also customer-specific cables can be used.
