For complex Isobus machines

Mueller Elektronik (Germany) has extended its product range with the Isobus terminal Touch800 and the parallel guidance system Track-Guide III. Both support the Multi-Control functionality.

THE TERMINALS ARE BASED ON THE SAME HARDWARE as the 12-inch Isobus terminal Touch1200. The new terminals use capacitive touch sensor technology. This is more expensive than resistive technology, but because the touch foil is protected behind glass, it is also almost the only technology which is predestined for the rough use in agriculture. The two products are equipped with an 8-inch TFT color display with a resolution of 800 pixel x 600 pixel. The size and sharpness of the display offer an overview and good readability, says the company. The user interface, icons, and menu navigation also originate from the Touch1200. As known from the Basic and Comfort terminal, the screen is divided into a main window and another so-called header window.

When compared to the present terminal generation, the two new ones also introduce new features: both support the Multi-Control functionality, which was already introduced with the Touch1200 at the Agritechnica. Multi-Control is an enhancement of the Task-Controller functionality and allows the control of complex Isobus machines. These are machines which contain several control units or control circuits for example sprayers with two spray booms and water circuits or seed drills with additional seed units for liquid fertilizer. Multi-Control also regulates several products (seeds, fertilizer, etc.) and can separate them even in different spread rates. The system is rounded off by Multi Section-Control, which controls the GPS-guided automatic section control of the different machine units. Furthermore, the two products are expandable through the activation of different apps (App & Go concept) or the automatic steering system „Track-Leader Auto“, which was recently introduced at the DLG field days.

The App & Go concept
This concept requires access to the company’s App-Store, which enables users to activate apps online as needed. With the input of the serial number and the activation code of the terminal a license key will be generated in the shop, with which the customer can activate the app. Most apps can be tested for free for 50 hours.
