THE CERTIFICATE COVERS THE ISOBUS FUNCTIONALITY Universal Terminal (UT), which specifies the possibility to use one terminal to operate a variety of implements. “We are especially proud to be the first manufacturer in the world to have received certification of the Isobus implement operation,” said Timur Dzinaj, manager of the Competence Center Isobus, in Osnabrueck, Germany. According to Dzinaj, this underlines the CCI member companies’ competence regarding Isobus, and is the result of cross-manufacturer co-operation.

The CCI terminal is verifiably compatible with other certified devices. The tested functionalities can be reviewed in the AEF Isobus database. There, dealers, farmers, and contractors find information about compatibility by combining tractors, terminals, and implements.

Competence Center Isobus is an association founded in 2009 by the companies Amazone, Grimme, Krone, Kuhn, Lemken, and Rauch. The CCI and its members co-operate in developing agricultural electronics. Apart from the development of Isobus terminals and software, the primary focus is on the establishment and advancement of the Isobus standard. Isobus standardizes both the communication between tractors and implements, as well as data transfer between mobile terminals and agricultural office software. To date, Poettinger, Bergmann, Anedo, Eckelmann, Jetter, Osnabrueck University of Applied Sciences, Bednar, Peeters Landbouwmachines, Walterscheid, Ropa, Zunhammer, Dinamica Generale, and PC-Agrar have joined the association.
