THE SERIES FEATURES CONTACTLESS HALL EFFECT SENSING to provide long life proportional control for over five million lifecycles. It is available with up to three proportional axis and two momentary pushbuttons and has been rated for an environmental protection level of IP67. Measuring 40 mm below the panel, the HF series requires minimal console space making it suitable for vehicles applications where ergonomics and operator comfort are paramount.

The J1939 option can be specified with a bit rate of 125 kbit/s, 250 kbit/s, 500 kbit/s, or 1 Mbit/s and a cycle time of either 50 ms or 15 ms. The J1939 option is available with up to four default addresses. A change on the termination end allows users to change the device IDs, allowing the use of up to four joysticks on the same network. Additional joystick addresses may be specified during the product configuration. CANopen is also available providing increased functionality. The series accommodates a 9 VDC to 35 VDC power supply and operates between -40 °C to +85 °C.
