Bauma China 2016
Shanghai Techwell presented in Shanghai its range of remote control devices. They are connected wireless to the T-B receiver, which provides CAN connectivity.
The ISO 9001 certified Chinese company started to develop radio communication systems already in 2002. The radio remote control units are mainly used in truck-mounted concrete pumps. Customers include Putzmeister, Sany, Schwing, and Zoomlion. The remote control units are often customized. The T-B receiver supports optionally CANopen, which is used for example by Putzmeister as an embedded network in the concrete pump. The radio link provides bi-directional communication capability.
The remote control devices are IP65-rated. The radio link provides functional safety meaning that the system transits into safety state, when the radio link is interrupted. The remote transmitter is based on a dual-processor system. There is no information, if the CAN interface supports CANopen Safety or any other functional safety protocol.
