Phoenix Contact's VL2 series of industrial PCs (IPC) features wide-screen size options from 7,0 inch to 21,5 inch. CAN is provided optionally.
The VL2 1000 industrial PCs are equipped with Intel’s Atom Bay Trail processors. These multi-core CPUs are part of the chipmaker’s long-term strategy on embedded microprocessors. The control units are intended for HMI applications. They come with Raid 0/1 support.
These entry-level box and panel computers feature an optional dual CAN interface. CANopen and J1939 are also supported. The product provides displays in sizes from 7-, 9-, and 12,1-inch screens, as well as 15,6-, 18,5-, and 21,5-inch. This gives OEMs a consistent user interface on their machines, whether they build small or larger applications, said the company. All of the displays have a capacitive-touch interface, allowing swiping, pinching, and multiple touch points at one time.
