At Agritechnica 2017, Continental will show its Multiviu Compact 7 human-machine interface. It is connectable to CAN networks.
In Hanover, the German company will present its products at its Agritechnica booth. This includes the Multiviu Compact 7 display. The display is part of the Multiviu Media platform. Besides the monitor, it comprises comprises radio and display controller. It will be shown installed in an original-sized cab. The device features a 7-inch screen. It provides a Bluetooth interface to integrate smart phones, and it is equipped with a CAN port to be connected to the vehicles’ embedded control network.
The screen displays virtually instruments. The shown information includes speed, engine speed, and fill levels. The same data can be sent to the smartphone via the integrated Bluetooth module. Drivers can connect their smartphones to Multiviu Media hardware and stream music or use the integrated touchscreen to control other devices in the vehicle.
