At Bauma 2019, Miunske (Germany) presented a panel with integrated Oled display. It comes with a high-speed CAN interface compliant to ISO 11898-2.
The introduced panel combines an Oled (organic light-emitting diode) display combines control as well as indication elements. The operating interface is customizable. The device is intended for road and off-road vehicle operation. The Oled display works without a backlight because it emits visible light. It can achieve a higher contrast ratio than an LCD (liquid crystal display). This makes it suitable for use in extreme lighting situations. The 2,42-inch Oled display features a 128 pixels x 44 pixels resolution. The panel comes in an IP67-rated housing. Two dimensions of keys are available. The company offers several add-on functions including an improved haptic perception as well as external or integrated encoders to navigate the display.
The CAN interface enables integration into in-vehicle network systems. It supports J1939, FireCAN, CiA 447, and CANopen. The company now also provides keypads with CANopen connectivity. They are available with 4, 6, or 12 function fields, which can be defined as switches, buttons, or push buttons. The integrated light sensor ensures the automatic adjustment of light intensity. By using multi-color LEDs, the individual display elements can be illuminated in any color.
