Otto (USA) has launched the G3-D control grip to be mounted on joysticks providing CAN connectivity. CANopen support is available.

The G3-D control grip can be configured with a rocker switch or a pushbutton at the top of the grip handle, and an operator presence trigger switch to help prevent inadvertent actuation. The product can be assembled with the company’s JHM joystick. The joysticks are available with a variety of options including single axis, dual axis, friction held, and omnidirectional. Output choices include also CANopen and CAN (layer-2) connectivity. The products are top-mountable or bottom-mountable.

The control grip is designed for industrial, agricultural, mining, utility and construction applications such as aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, bucket trucks, tele-handlers, trenchers, and track trucks.
