Ruggedized mPCIe board
The EMUC-B201 board by Innodisk (Taiwan) is intended for vehicles and Industrial PCs. It is specified for -40 °C to +85 °C temperature range.
The board in mPCIe format measures 30 mm x 50,9 mm x 8,35 mm. It is specified for vibration of up to 5 g and shocks up to 50 g. The USB interface complies with version 2.0. The two CAN ports support the Classical data link layer protocol up to 1 Mbit/s. The on-board termination resistor can be enabled/disabled by means of a jumper. The board can be used to connect CAN networks to embedded or industrial computers. Software drivers are available for Windows and Linux (SocketCAN).
In 2005, Richard Lee and partners established Innodisk in Taiwan. The company was mainly focused on developing storage products – especially flash disks for industrial applications including mobile machines. The provider of the USB/CAN host interface board has branch offices in USA, Europe, Japan, and China.
