The T7 transmitter features space for up to 10 linear paddles or four joysticks, and a 4,3-inch display. It comes in an IP65-rated housing. The RX CBB-1 receiver was designed for mobile machinery. It provides a CANopen Safety interface or two CANopen interfaces. The remote controller complies with ISO 13849-1 (Category 3, PL-d) and EN 62061 (SIL-3), said Sonja Zurth from Abitron at the Hannover Messe. There are two emergency-stops available as well as some safety-related digital and analog I/O ports.

The up to two presence sensors in the transmitter improve safety. They can be integrated inside the handle. They allow the user to concentrate on the actual task without getting tensed. The capacitive sensor is even activated when the user wears gloves. The evaluation of the presence sensor can be done in the transmitter or the receiver.

The 4,3-inch display has a resolution of 480 by 272 pixels. There are four optional soft-keys. The display can be configured by means of the USB interface. Optionally, there is a switch to video feedback. This enables the user to make blind spots visible. Up to four IP67-rated cameras can be connected with the transmitter. The maximum distance is about 100 m.
