Microcontrol developed the 19-inch slide-in units of the µLAB product family. They are designed to meet the needs of industrial and experimental test facilities, explained the company. The units run CAN and the protocols CANopen or J1939.
The IP20-rated products are equipped with a high-speed CAN interface. This makes them suited for modern modular motor, engine, and components testing facilities where users often have to change configurations, said the company. The 16-channel systems are equipped with plug-in sensor connectors in the front plate to facilitate handling during operation. Electrical as well as thermal or mechanical values can be acquired at 16-bit resolution.
With its regular 19-inch casings the series is particularly suitable for a range of industrial and experimental research and testing tasks. The product offers high packing density, flexibility of connection equipment and may be combined with different operating and display terminals, added the company. The Microcontrol µLAB is equipped with CAN and supports the higher-layer protocols CANopen or J1939. It is suited to measure electrical, thermal, and mechanical values in engine and components testing facilities.
