Miunske (Germany) is specialized on CAN modules for trucks and mobile machinery. The company offers I/O devices, keyboards, and CAN bridges. The configuration of these modules is supported by PC-based tool.
THE CAN-CONNECTABLE I/O DEVICES FOR OUTDOOR USE and come in IP53-rated enclosures. The CAN interface is compliant to ISO 11898-2 (high-speed) supporting bit-rates up to 1 Mbit/s. The company doesn’t provide CANopen or J1939 software. The IO Nano module measures just 30 mm x 30 mm x 50 mm and features two analog inputs as well as two analog outputs. The IO5 module provides 12 inputs and 12 outputs. The outputs can be separated into 6 high-side and 6 low-side outputs.
The company manufactures keyboards with CAN interfaces, which have been specially developed for use in commercial vehicles. The individual symbols are homogenous illuminated. Multi-color LEDs are used to offer a free choice of symbol colors. An integrated sensor measures the intensity of the ambient light and adjusts the luminance of the symbols. This intensity value can optionally be transmitted or received via CAN. Minimum and maximum brightness of individual symbols can be configured for day and night light. The IP65-rated keyboards are available with 4, 6, or 12 buttons. To configure the devices by means of the PC configuration software, the CAN-Fox CAN-to-USB dongle by Sontheim (Germany) is offered.
