THE US-COMPANY FOUNDED 1943 provides human machine interfaces for different markets including off-highway vehicles. Many of these IP67-rated products are customized. The keypads and vehicle display controller comes with CAN interfaces. CANopen and J1939 software support is optionally available. The next generation may support also functional safety. This is required in particular by European OEMs.

The 3K keypads are available in different sizes from 6 keys up to 20 keys. They operate in a temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C. The products are specified for one million cycles per key. The supplier also offers the 3J vehicle display controller, which is a joystick, featuring three options for the center knob (rotary encoder, encoder with pushbutton, or joystick encoder). These products are equipped with dimmable LED indicators and legends.

Additionally, the company produces displays in different sizes (3,2 inch, 6,5 inch, and 10,4 inch). Of course, they all are available with CAN interfaces. The 3D50 vehicle display is configurable by the user. It provides even gauges, which automatically adjusts based on the values received via the J1939 interface. There is no native coding required to receive the J1939 messages.
