THE ABSOLUTE ENCODERS ARE AVAILABLE IN SOLID SHAFT AND HUB-SHAFT VERSIONS. They provide a bus-in and bus-out connection. The IP67-rated housing measures 2,5-inch (diameter) and can be networked with PLCs and PACs that support Devicenet. The bus-in connector can also be used with a T-drop connector.

The sensors are configurable with respect to the resolution, the count direction, the total measurement range, the velocity format as well as the position reset. This can be done for example by means of Rockwell’s RS-Logix or Schneider Electric’s Unity Pro software tools. All configurable parameters and the preset offset are stored in the internal non-volatile memory. The field selectable DIP-switches and reset button are accessed through the unit's back cover.
