At the Bauma, Gefran (Italy) launches three series: angular, inclination, and displacement sensors. They are specifically designed for mobile hydraulics applications.
Gefran’s announced sensors are ideal for fitting the entire machine: the angular sensors with Hall effect (called GRA and GRN) are available with or without shaft or with single turn. The inclinometers for single/double axis (XY/360°), all with MEMS technology, are available in GIB versions (entry level) GIG (general purpose) and GIT (top), depending on the customer’s performance requirements. The GSF, a wire displacement transducer designed with potentiometric technology, is particularly solid.
The sensors all come with CANopen communication protocol and are available in single or redundant versions. They offer a PBT structure to ensure maximum resistance to impact and solvents as well as insulation against temperature changes. In addition, these sensors with contactless technology (Hall effect and magnetostrictive) reduce maintenance to an absolute minimum, says the company.
The sensors are SIL 2 certified (industrial pressure) and E1 compliant (angular sensors), which ensures machine safety during movements such as stabilization, rotation, and inclination of all or part of the machine. Gefran is part of the Bauma 2016, which takes place in Munich from April 11 to 17. The company can be found in the open air area FN624/7 and in hall A5, stand 315.
