The N5 tilt sensor by Elobau (Germany) comes with a CAN interface supporting CANopen and J1939.
The product features a measuring of 360° for one axis and 180° for two axes. Additionally, it provides four configurable switching points. There are selectable on/off delays for each switching points. Neutral position adjustment is configurable via the CAN interface. The CAN port is accessible by means of a Deutsch connector or an M12 connector. The default bit-rate is 250 kbit/s.
The Mems-based (micro-electro-mechanical system) sensor housing is IP67-rated. The temperature range is -40 °C to +85 °C, while the operating voltage ranges from +9 VDC to +32 VDC. The design allows measuring the slope of lifting platforms or monitoring the fork tilt on telescopic ladders.
