Inclinometer and accelerometer

Trombetta offers an inclinometer with J1939 interface as well as a combined accelerometer inclinometer with a CANopen port.

The solid-state inclinometer utilizes MEMS technology to measure and output the angular data to the CAN-based J1939 network. The CAN bit-rate is 250 kbit/s. The sensor is available in single, dual, or triple axes configurations. The single-axis version measures 360° with an accuracy of 0,6°. The dual-axes variant features an accuracy of 0,25° and a measurement range of ±90°. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +85 °C.

The three-axes accelerometer with integrated inclinometer measures ±16 g per axis and ±180°. The resolution is 13 bit. The MEMS-based sensor provides a CANopen interface running at 250 kbit/s. Both sensors are powered nominally by 12 VDC or 24 VDC.
