This enables them to spend less time in costly development and testing when they can partner with our team to implement proven and certified safety applications to their machines,” said Safety Applications Product Manager, Boris Zils. The sensor family supports CANopen communication in compliance with the CiA 301 specification.
In the press release, Moba said, for more than a decade, their safety application development has been trusted by OEMs (original equipment manufacturer) in the cranes and lifter industry. Millions of hours of use in the field on different varieties of cranes and lifters on applications including position controls, chassis stabilization, and leveling systems. The company’s line of safety applications is on the market worldwide, including the U.S.
“Bringing these fantastic products to the US OEMs is a tremendous opportunity for us, especially after a proven track record with the international market. We are eager to continue to grow and build momentum with engineering teams stateside and show them how they can benefit from the products most trusted around the world,” said David Holland, Moba’s U.S. cranes and lifters business development leader.
