J1939 encoder and inclinometer

The Tiltix inclinometer and Ixarch absolute rotary encoder by Posital (Germany) are designed for heavy-duty vehicle applications. They provide CAN interfaces with J1939 protocol support.

Posital introduces encoders and inclinometers with J1939 interfaces
THE INCLINOMETERS AND ENCODERS COME IN AN IP69K-rated housing. This means they withstand salt spray or water jets from pressure washers. The inclinometers can measure tilt in two dimensions (±80°) and are suitable for monitoring pitch and roll in off-road vehicles or vessels, or for positioning crane booms or other moveable machine parts. The aluminum housings provide protection against accidental impact, while optional bus-in/bus-out M12 connectors can be used to simplify wiring layouts. When rotary motion must be measured and controlled, for example in steering systems, winches etc., the absolute rotary encoders can be used. They are based on magnetic measurement technology; they are tolerant for shock and vibration loadings. The 316L stainless steel housings and heavy-duty bearings ensure reliable service. Multi-turn versions of the rotary encoders incorporate a self-powered system to count shaft rotations, even when the motion occurs while the control system is powered down. They do not need backup batteries.
