CAN in Automation member Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) is presenting its T01 temperature transmitter at the SPS IPC Drives 2013 exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany. The device was developed for use in commercial vehicles and mobile working machines. Also it incorporates J1939 and CANopen.
THE TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER NATURALLY possesses E1 accreditation. It will be available as a series product at the end of Q1. On the output side, the device incorporates the SAE J1939 protocol and CANopen, whereby 11-bit and 29-bit identifiers are supported. Electric contact is ensured via a 5-pin M12 plug.
The product is based on a accurate PT1000A temperature element, which is in a welded stainless steel housing. The device is compatible with a range of media. Based on STW’s many years of experience in the mobile hydraulic applications sector, particular attention was paid to arising conditions such as vibrations, EMC requirements, thermal stress loads and protection against external influences.
