On the joint both of Finland, Wapice presented its CANrunner. The CAN analyzer and diagnostic software is based on the Qt cross-platform toolkit.

The CANrunner monitors in real-time the traffic on CAN networks. The software tool can be downloaded free-of-charge from the providers website. It runs under Windows and Linux. A SocketCAN software driver is available, too. The tool is compatible with several CAN hardware interfaces (e.g. from HMS/Ixxat and Kvaser). It can diagnose simultaneously multiple CAN channels. Protocol parsers for some higher-layer protocols can be plugged-in. As other analyzer tools, it provides message filtering, configurable load generations, logging of CAN frames, etc.

Wapice is a Finnish software provider specialized in industrial solutions, systems, and product development for Finland’s leading industrial companies. The 270-employees company is since many years CAN in Automation member. It is divided into three departments: embedded systems, industrial systems, and business solutions. The company shows its product at the Hannover Messe 2017.
