ATI’s DLX 1100 data logger offers a combination of functions that provide a CAN interface, data acquisition module, and data logger all in one package. Communication channels include CAN, K-line, and LIN.
THE DATA LOGGER INCLUDES EIGHT analog channels, one sensor power output, four thermocouple channels, and four digital I/O channels. The communication channels can be used to interface to ECUs (electronic control unit) or to communicate with data acquisition hardware. This combination ensures that ECU and instrumentation data are properly correlated for analysis.
The small form factor (120 mm x 64,5 mm x 23,3 mm) and IP65 rating make the data logger suitable for space constrained applications. The device weighs 145 g and brings a robust and cost effective data logging and calibration interface to small engine development. Two high-speed CAN interfaces enable communication and bi-color LEDs indicate the communication status.

The data logger is configured using ATI Vision calibration and data acquisition software. The files are saved to the SDHC memory card in Asam MDF V4 format. Data is stored on the logger in PC readable files that can be accessed by using the USB port or removing the SDHC card. The device has a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. The logger can be seen at the Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2015 in Stuttgart from June 16 to 18.
